Kent Yarbrough

My husband Kent... what a good, talented man. Its been months now since he's been gone, but I can still close my eyes and smell his scent, hear his voice, feel his touch...I miss him more than anyone can ever imagine. Our beautiful children miss him, but with the love of music, the love of life itself that Kent had, they will always know and remember their daddy is with them, just as he will always be with me and all of his family and friends. Kent loved life, he loved to travel, his music, always sought an adventure, whatever he choose to do, he did it with such passion, of course there was the music, but he also loved sports as well, the Dolphins, pissed him off Marino never got that superbowl ring, ah and the Carolina Tarheels, he was a dedicated fan. Kent loved to golf, to bowl, he loved history.. those who knew him well , knew the trivia buff he was...he could do this thing with a pole Ryan reminded me of it the other day, Kent could suspended his body horizontal while holding on to a secured pole, funny how we rememeber those little talents such as that. but I do... Ryan does... and I smile, cause that was just Kent. Ryan and Sarah will grow up with so many memories of their daddy, they will grow up knowing his friends, they will know Kent, what a wonderful man he is. Me and Kent talked so much about what we wanted for our kids, I will, with Kent in my heart to guide me, will make sure they experience all the things we hoped upon, the music, the travel everything. I have no doubt Ryan and Sarah will be great musicians like their father... and to be happy, just live life, and laugh. Kent definaltly enjoyed life, why God choose to take him away, I dont know, but what time we did have with him will always be forever cherished.

Kent... I love you... always have... always will
